BILD Edmonton Metro’s Construction Safety week enables members to engage in hands-on learning, industry storytelling, and positive recognition of safety practices.
BILD Edmonton Metro’s Construction Safety Week took place during May 4 to 8, 2026, aligning with National Safety and Health Week led by the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS).
The 2026 initiative featured a week-long engagement series, anchored by a flagship “Construction Safety Boot Camp” - a hands-on, fairground-style safety event showcasing real-life scenarios, industry expertise, and partner demonstrations.

Construction Safety Bootcamp
BILD Edmonton’s Health and Safety Working Group hosted a Construction Boot Camp, with over 20 companies that specialize in safety, from breaking ground, to active construction sites, and to the office, to create a fun and interactive day that combines education with networking.
