Talk to sales

The platform

All 17 modules, every plan

It starts with the deadlines. It runs the rest of the job.

Tiercord began as the only software that tracks Canadian prompt-payment law properly, and that is still the part nobody else does. But the deadlines come from invoices, the invoices come from contracts, and the contracts come from jobs. So Tiercord runs those too, from one record, and syncs with the books you already keep.

One spine, always on

These are the parts every workspace has, whatever kind of firm you run. They present differently depending on what you do, but they are never removed, and the deadline engine underneath them never stops computing.

  • Dashboard
  • Projects and contracts
  • Counterparties
  • Invoices, both directions
  • Payments
  • Documents
  • The deadline engine
  • Reminders
  • The audit log, hash-chained
  • Settings, billing and team management

Around that spine sit the modules. These are the parts you choose: every one of them is on every plan, and every one outside the spine is yours to switch on or off.

Compliance

5 modules

The wedge, and still the part nobody else does. Six provinces, every statutory clock, anchored to the moment your invoice was received.

The deadline engine

Calendar-day arithmetic in each project's own timezone, with that province's statutory holidays and rollover rules. It is spine: it runs whatever else you switch off.

Prompt-payment compliance

Notices of non-payment on the correct provincial form, the adjudication record bundle, the AI adjudication assistant, and the deficiency queue for invoices billed to you. One module, because a notice carrying an undertaking creates an adjudication clock and the two cannot be separated.

Holdbacks

The holdback tracker, lien-window deadlines and the release workflow, with a reminder before the window closes rather than after.

Statutory declarations

CCDC 9A and 9B declarations generated for progress payments, from the contract and payment record you already have.

Calendar feed

Every open deadline as a subscribable calendar, in the same app your site supervisor already checks.

Accounting

6 modules

Tiercord does not replace your books. It syncs with them, both ways, and adds the layer an accounting package was never designed to carry.

QuickBooks Online

Two-way sync of customers, invoices and payments, with your first import free however large it is.

Xero

The same two-way sync, on its own connection and its own switch, so one integration going down never takes the other with it.

Procore

Projects, prime contracts, commitments and invoices, kept in step with the compliance record rather than beside it.

Invoices and payments

Raise a proper invoice that validates against the province's requirements before it goes out, record what comes in and code it back to the job it belongs to, and let the downstream cascade create every sub's deadline from the payment you just received. Spine.

Cross-ledger reconciliation

Two ledgers connected, one named primary, and a merge queue that asks about the rows that genuinely disagree instead of every row. It has no switch of its own: it appears once a second ledger is connected, and it keeps working until the questions it raised are answered.

Branded PDFs

Your logo on every invoice, notice and declaration you generate, each carrying a SHA-256 hash and a verification code in the footer.

Project management

6 modules

The jobs themselves: who is on them, what was agreed, what is owed and what happens next.

Projects, contracts and tasks

Receivable and payable contracts on the same job, with payment terms, task types and a schedule that reads as Jobs rather than as a compliance ledger. Spine.

Counterparties

Every owner, contractor, sub and supplier in one directory, shared across projects, with their contracts and history attached. Spine.

Workspace Graph

The interactive map of projects, contracts, counterparties and money flow. Follow a dollar from the owner to the sub who is still waiting for it.

Workspace Intelligence

AI-written reports over your own workspace with charts and cited findings, and a link from every claim back to the record it came from.

Team, roles and SSO

Unlimited users on every plan, with roles for office, field, accountant and outside counsel, plus SSO and SCIM provisioning. Spine.

Backups

On-demand exports and an automatic backup runner. A ZIP of every document, the audit log and a verification script, any time you want it.

Every one of these is on every plan, including SSO and SCIM on the $59 plan. We don't sell features. We size the plan to the company.

Compare the numbers

There is nothing else to compare. Every one of the 17 modules above is on all four plans, so these rows are the whole difference.

Bill more than your plan covers and nothing happens

There is no charge per dollar, per invoice or per document, on any plan. Growing inside your band costs nothing, and passing it costs nothing either: every invoice, notice and declaration still works and every statutory clock still runs. We show you which plan fits and leave the decision with you. We will never move you up without you choosing it.

What we count is the ex-tax total of the invoices you bill out, in the month you issued them. Supplier bills you receive do not count, because those are money you owe. Tax does not count, because it is the government's. Holdback does count, because you earned it and are waiting on it. We read it from the invoices already in Tiercord, so there is nothing to declare and nothing to prove.

We average twelve months, and we stay quiet for the first three. Canadian construction is seasonal enough that a single month is meaningless: nationally the peak month runs about 1.4 times the trough, and in Saskatchewan residential work it is closer to 2.7 times. One heavy draw month moves nobody.

Importing your history does not push you up a plan. Every invoice counts in the month it was issued, so three years of QuickBooks, Xero or Procore data lands in its own months rather than all in today. It does show you your real size on day one, which is usually why you imported it.

Which plan fits?

One question sorts it: how much do you bill a year? Find the row that sounds like your firm. The sizes come from Statistics Canada, so one of them should.

Only as big as you need it to be

Every plan has everything, which is not the same as every screen being useful to you. A concrete sub who never receives an invoice has no use for the deficiency queue. A developer who does not hold back does not want a holdback tracker in the sidebar.

17 modules is a lot of software to hand someone on their first morning. So Tiercord has a spine that is always on, and modules you choose: we ask you once, during setup, what your firm actually does and switch on the packs that answer it. You can change the answer any time at Settings, Features, where anyone on your team can see what is off and ask for it back, and an owner or admin turns it on in one click.

It is not a plan gate and it is not a permission: every module is on every plan. Turning something off removes it from navigation; it never deletes anything and it never stops the arithmetic. Deadlines keep computing, holdback clocks keep accruing and the audit chain keeps appending, so switching a module back on eleven months later shows you correct history rather than a hole. Nothing is ever deleted to make a screen simpler.

The safety floor

Switch off any part of Tiercord you don’t need. We’ll still warn you if a date is about to cost you a right.

A deadline whose expiry would extinguish a legal right notifies you whether or not the module that owns it is switched on, and the notice comes with a way to act on it rather than a dead link. It is a courtesy rather than an undertaking to monitor, so silence is never evidence that nothing is due, but no preference you set can make Tiercord quiet about a right you are about to lose.

Pricing FAQ

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every workspace starts with a free month, no credit card required, and the trial runs on Business settings: sized for a company billing up to $3M a year, with everything unlimited, exactly as it is on every paid plan. You will not spend your evaluation looking at an over-limit banner, because there are no limits to be over. At the end we show you what you actually billed and which plan fits it, and your data is preserved either way.

If every plan has everything, why would I ever upgrade?

Because you outgrow the numbers, not the software. The plans are sized by how much you bill: Starter for contractors up to $150K a year, Professional to $600K, Business to $3M, and Enterprise above that. A one-van trade and a multi-site builder use exactly the same product, with the same unlimited everything. One of them bills seventy-five thousand dollars a year and the other bills five million.

How do you know what I bill?

We add up the invoices you already have in Tiercord. It is the ex-tax total of what you invoice out, counted in the month you issued it, averaged over twelve months. Supplier bills you receive are not counted, because those are money you owe rather than money you earn. Taxes are not counted, because GST and PST are collected for the government and are not your revenue. Holdback is counted, because it is money you have earned and are waiting on. There is nothing to declare, nothing to prove and no audit.

Why twelve months, and not this month?

Because Canadian construction is seasonal and a single month says almost nothing. Nationally, building investment in the peak month runs about 1.4 times the trough. In Saskatchewan residential work it is closer to 2.7 times, and an individual contractor swings harder than any provincial average. A monthly figure would move a residential framer up a plan every August and back down every March. Averaging twelve months removes that entirely. We also do not read anything into your size until we have at least three months of history.

What happens if I bill more than my plan covers?

Nothing stops and nothing extra is charged. Every invoice, notice and declaration still works, and the statutory clocks still run, because no limit may ever prevent Tiercord from tracking or warning about a deadline. There is no per-dollar charge anywhere in Tiercord, so growing inside your band costs you nothing and passing it costs you nothing either. We show you which plan fits and leave the decision with you. We will never move you up a plan without you choosing it.

Does a big historical import push me up a plan?

No. Every invoice counts in the month it was issued, not the month it arrived, so importing three years of QuickBooks or Xero history lands each invoice in its own month rather than piling it all into today. What the import does do is show you your real size straight away, which is usually the point of doing it.

Is SSO really included on the $59 plan?

Yes, along with SCIM provisioning and as many verified domains as you need. Sign-in security is not a feature to sell back to you at four figures a month, and a small firm handling six-figure holdbacks needs it as much as a large one.

Are there any other limits or extra charges?

No. There is one number on your bill and it is your plan price. Jobs, users, companies, invoices, notices, statutory declarations, verified SSO domains, Workspace Intelligence reports and the AI adjudication assistant are all unlimited on every plan, including the $59 one. We used to charge per report and per brief and cap projects, companies and SSO domains; all of that is gone. The only thing that decides your plan is how much you bill.

Do you charge per user?

No. Every plan includes unlimited users with roles, from your office manager to the field crew to your accountant and outside counsel. Compliance only works when the relevant person is in the system, so we never tax you for adding people.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. You can move up or down at any time and changes are prorated. Your data, documents and audit chain carry across untouched.

Does pricing change by province?

No. One subscription covers Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, British Columbia and federal projects in those provinces. Every available jurisdiction is included on the same plan.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You can export a ZIP archive of every document, the full audit log and a verification script at any time. Your data is yours.
