Deemed proper invoice
A deemed proper invoice is an invoice that becomes a proper invoice by operation of law because the payer did not raise a defect within a short review window.
Not every province has a deeming rule. Where it exists, silence by the payer converts the invoice into a proper invoice and starts the clock. Where it does not exist, the invoice must be correct from the outset.
