Follow up.
In your own voice.

Your relationship with the customer matters. Keep payment follow-up in your connected Gmail or Outlook, with the cadence and limits you choose.

Set an authorised workflow around the invoice. Choose when it should follow up and what should stop it, while keeping the conversation connected to the record.

A payment needs to be recorded.

Payment-based stop conditions depend on recorded payments. A partial payment does not necessarily settle the invoice.

The money still held back

Keep the holdback
in the picture.

The invoice may have moved on. The holdback still belongs in the conversation.

Track retained amounts with the contract, alongside the facts needed to assess release. Keep supported dates and reminders visible without assuming that a payment date is also a holdback release date.

Know what needs confirming.

If a required fact is missing, the release date stays unconfirmed. Your next step is clear: complete the record.

Plans & pricing
Will Tiercord collect the money?

Tiercord helps manage the record, deadlines and follow-up. It does not transfer funds, act as a collection agency or guarantee payment.

Does follow-up use my email?

Yes, through a supported Gmail or Outlook connection and an authorised workflow. You choose cadence, limits and stop conditions. A payment-based stop requires the payment to be recorded; a partial payment need not settle the invoice.

What if an upstream date is missing?

Tiercord identifies missing required facts and withholds unsupported clocks. Sending your invoice does not start every deadline. Holdback release also depends on the applicable rules and recorded contract facts.

Can my office team use it?

Invite your bookkeeper to work with invoices, payments and holdback. Import PDFs or spreadsheets, or connect supported records from QuickBooks Online, Xero or Jobber. Access follows assigned permissions.

Which rules apply to my project?

Supported provincial rules cover Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Federal eligibility depends on location and party tier. Timing depends on the contract and recorded facts.

British Columbia: prompt payment is pending. Those clocks stay out of statutory overdue counts and reminders; existing lien and holdback rules remain separate. View the statute.

Tiercord supports professional review. It does not provide legal advice, determine entitlement, file an adjudication or swear a declaration.
