Where BC stands

Tiercord computes BC's payment, notice and adjudication clocks from the Construction Prompt Payment Act as passed: 28 days for the owner to pay, 14 days for its notice of non-payment, and a calculated payment date for everyone below of 28 days plus 7 for each contract position (s. 9(2)), so a subcontractor three tiers down is on day 49, not day 42. Every deadline computed this way is flagged as pending proclamation, on the deadline itself and in your audit trail, so a later reviewer can always tell which clocks ran under settled law and which under an Act not yet in force.

Two figures are not assumptions. The 10% holdback and the lien windows come from BC's Builders Lien Act, which is in force today: the holdback release clock runs 55 days and the lien filing window 45. Those are current law, and Tiercord treats them as such.

When the Act is brought into force and the regulations issue, Tiercord ships the final BC day counts, the banner on your project flips from Pending to In force, and new deadlines are computed under BC's own numbers. Nothing you have recorded moves or disappears.
