Public verification
Receipts anyone can check
Every PDF has a QR code
Look at the footer of any document Tiercord generates. There's a QR code pointing to /verify/<id>. Recipients scan it and see the document's SHA-256 hash, generation timestamp, and the Tiercord version that produced it.
No account required. No login. Just a public, read-only receipt that anyone can use to confirm authenticity.
Compare the original file with its fingerprint
Open the verification link printed on the PDF and compare the saved SHA-256 fingerprint with a hash of the file you received. You can calculate that hash locally, without sending the document to another website.
Matching hashes identify the same file. A different hash means the files differ; check the document version and ask the sender for the original. The verification record confirms document integrity, not the accuracy of the underlying statements or proof of service.
