Switch off what you don't need

Part 1

Tiercord should be the size of your business

Tiercord covers a lot of ground, and most companies do not do all of it. A supplier who only ever invoices does not review incoming invoices. A property owner never issues a statutory declaration. Carrying somebody else's workflow around in your sidebar is just noise you have to read past every day.

So Settings, Features holds a palette: a list of the parts of Tiercord you can switch off for your whole company. Prompt-payment compliance (notices, adjudication and the deficiency queue, which move together), holdbacks, statutory declarations, the Workspace Graph, Workspace Intelligence, the calendar feed, branded PDFs, backups, and each accounting or project integration.

Part 2

Switched off means gone, not greyed out

A module you switch off is removed, not disabled. It leaves the sidebar, the bottom bar and this tour. That is deliberate: a greyed-out menu entry promises something is missing, and nothing is missing here. You are not being sold anything back, because every capability is on every plan.

Three things never change when a module goes off:

Nothing stops being computed. Deadlines still run, holdback balances still accrue, the audit chain still appends. Switch Holdbacks back on eleven months later and you find correct history, not a hole.
Nothing is deleted. Your documents, invoices and records stay exactly where they are.
No number moves. Compliance rates, counts and evidence bundles are unchanged, so a report you hand an adjudicator says the same thing either way.

Part 3

The safety floor

Here is the promise, and it is the reason the palette can be as blunt as it is: switch off any part of Tiercord you don't need. We'll still warn you if a date is about to cost you a right.

A statutory clock does not care what your sidebar looks like. When one of them comes due and the only place to act on it is a module you have switched off, Tiercord shows you the deadline anyway, says which part of the product handles it, and offers to switch that part back on right there. It will never quietly drop a warning because you tidied a menu.

Everyone in the company can see the Features page and what is switched off, so nobody has to wonder why their Tiercord looks smaller than a colleague's. Admins are the ones who can change it.
